What you see on this video is a cruel event known as calf roping, which is still legal in rodeos in all Australian States and Territories, except Victoria. This video was provided to Telstra who, at the time were a major sponsor of the rodeo. Thankfully, senior decision makers at Telstra were horrified at what they witnessed and withdrew their sponsorship of the event.
