You can be a hero for animals.
We inherited a world that decreed some animals 'friends' and others, 'food'. Some animals worthy of kindness, and not others.
Now, Tottie the piglet is helping people Australia-wide to see farmed animals in a whole new light – and inspiring the inner hero that's in us all.

Behind every piece of pork is a ‘Tottie’.
They crave safety, comfort, and connection – just like the companion animals we open our homes and our hearts to. But most pigs aren't as lucky as Tottie.
Hidden behind the walls of factory farms, they're denied everything that makes a life worth living. It doesn't have to be this way.
Your every day choices can help change their world!

Why do animals need heroes?
Animals raised and killed for food in Australia are vulnerable to cruelty and suffering due to outdated laws and practices.
Shortly after being born, most piglets have pieces of their bodies cut off – without any pain relief. Their mothers aren’t able to nurture them as they naturally would, forced to spend weeks on end in cages barely bigger than their bodies.
And the first time they’ll get to see the outside world – the world they were meant to live in – will be on the very last day of their short lives, when they are trucked to the slaughterhouse.
Tottie and Davo’s tale of unexpected love and friendship is showing the world another possibility…
What happens when we see these sensitive animals for who they truly are? And what if the power lies with us to change the world for them? (It does!)
When Davo met Tottie, their lives changed forever. And by choosing to think of animals differently, and making decisions that better align with our hearts, we can transform lives too.
