In 2024, the Australian parliament voted to end the cruel live sheep export trade. But very soon, Australia will head to a Federal election and Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has vowed to overturn the ban if the Coalition is elected. So, we've joined forces with Stop Live Exports and the Australian Alliance for Animals to run high impact ads in battleground seats across Australia. Here's what they look like...

Billboards

Our message that Australian sheep have suffered enough will be broadcast on 12 billboards, including two super-sites in Western Australia where live export lobbyists are campaigning heavily against MPs who support the phase-out.

Train stations

Across dozens of train stations in key electorates in New South Wales and Queensland, commuters will be reminded which parties are promising to stand firm against the cruelty of live sheep export.

Bus stops

Our campaign putting sheep back at the centre of this debate will be hard to miss in marginal electorates in Queensland and Victoria where we know that the majority of voters across the political spectrum care deeply about animals.

Shopping centres

As the industry tries to convince politicians that the sky will fall in without live sheep export, we'll reveal the reality across hundreds of retail sites in five states: ending the trade is better for animals and the economy.

Petrol stations

Filling up the car isn't often a memorable experience but through targeted ads at gas stations across Australia, we're determined to ensure that the animals at the heart of the decision to end live sheep export will never be forgotten.

What can I do to help?

Our national ad campaign is running in battleground electorates in five states, specifically targeting locations where there is strong public and political interest in the live sheep export phase-out. Anything you can give will help amplify our message for animals in the most hotly-contested electorates this Federal election. Help us send the strongest possible message that Australian sheep have suffered enough, and that keeping this cruel trade alive is not a vote winner.
