Ever wondered if one person (or one meal) can make a difference? How’s this: by loading their plates with more animal-friendly food in May 2024, participants spared the lives of 2.3 million animals.
And the impact didn’t end there.
Most 2024 participants have gone on to reduce or ditch meat altogether. A quarter of them are embracing this new way of eating for good.
Here are four examples of how many animals will be spared over the coming decades because of these No Meat May participants…

36,165,726 chickens saved from short, painful lives
Yes, that is over 36 million chickens who won’t be prisoners in their unnaturally large bodies – victims of profit-driven selective breeding over generations. If 76,299 No Meat May participants could impact this much change in 2024, imagine what we could achieve for chickens this year.

195,325 cows saved from slaughterhouses
That’s thousands of sensitive individuals who won’t suffer through the excruciating pain of ‘dehorning‘, be confined in filthy feedlots or spend their final moments in terror inside a slaughterhouse – because thousands of kind individuals switched ‘beef’ for plant-based alternatives.

119,819,950 fish and other sea animals will stay safe in their ocean homes
They live such unique and mysterious lives, but whether finned or shelled, the animals who call the oceans home have something critical in common with every land animal: they feel pain and they resist death with all their might. Join thousands of people leaving sea animals in the sea where they belong this May.
The love of animals and our planet is the reason I joined. Now I have the drive to add being in the best health of my life.
